Atopalm-Sensitive Skincare Review

Hey Guys!

I was so excited about a new sensitive skincare brand I discovered, that I had to make an entire video raving about the the products that I’ve been enjoying!

This skincare line is pretty new and I have seen it sold in Ulta stores in addition to the atopalm website.   The line was created specifically for dry , sensitive, sun damaged skin. It has a specially patented formula that helps moisturize, soothe and calm skin. It is ideal for someone who experiences skin rashes, irritation , dryness or rosacea. It is paraben free and dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.

I have tried the, bb cream, moisturizing cleansing wipes, daytime undermakeup moisture cream, and moisturizing facial cleansing foam. Here is my video review of these products:

Hope you enjoyed watching. If you have any specific questions about my experience with these products, feel free to ask! :)

Back to School Beauty 2012 Part 2- All About Makeup

Hey Guys!

The other day I wrote about some great beauty products to get you ready for back to school. Today I want to continue that and share with you some of my favorite makeup items for back to school season. These are a few of the things that I am loving right now and that I think would be helpful for back to school season.

The first items are eye shadow palettes. There are two in particular that are out now that have peaked my attention that I think anyone would love. One is the SHE WEARS IT WELL Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills.  It is a perfect mix of  9 matte and shimmery eyeshadows that are all neutral enough to wear everyday or make and evening smokey eye look from. The palette retails for $34 and is a great value for the quality and convenience of this palette.

The next palette (or set) I should say is the new Majestic Jungle Collection by Glow Minerals. This is a beautiful fall makeup set that comes with a cute makeup bag, gloss and eye makeup palette complete with 8 rich  fall colors and 2 eyeliners. This is one of the most gorgeous fall eye shadow palettes I have seen. My only gripe about it is that the colors although rich and pigmented, have a little fallout when you swipe your brush in there, so just be sure to tap of your brush before applying to avoid a mess. This retails for $80.

The Sigma Performance Eye Kit is a must-have brush set. You may have regular makeup brushes, but do you have the performance eye brushes? These are tiny precise brushes that are great for anyone who wants to create more precise eye looks, or if you have smaller eyes these are perfect size for you to contour and create precise definition between multiple shadow eye looks. This kit comes with 8  brushes and retails for $55.

As you might know already, I love BB creams. And, I think everyone should have one. The Loreal youth Code BB cream  is a really great drugstore buy if you’re looking to try one. Those of you who don’t like to wear a lot of foundation or just want a quick easy one step product to apply, this is your answer, it evens out your skin, illuminates skin, perfects flaws, moisturizes, corrects and provides spf 15. I would recommend this for anyone who has normal, combination or dry skin. Since it illuminates it may make oil skin look more oily. Check it out , it retails for  around $16.99 at most drugstores.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what some of my makeup picks were for back to school beauty. If you have any questions about the items above, leave them in the comments below or e-mail me.

And, check out my Lovelo Beauty Facebook Page for more pictures, and info on what I’m up to. :)

Rain Cosmetics Conceal and Reveal & Maybelline Baby Lips in Fruit Punch

Hey Guys!

I have so many fun beauty products and spring posts planned and can’t wait to keep sharing with you guys all of my amazing beauty finds!!! How was everyone’s weekend?? I had a birthday along with my adorable niece McKinley, we share a birthday on the 17th. Here is a photo of us I took with my phone. :) It was a really enjoyable weekend.

I have a few beauty items that are new recent found LOVES that I want to tell you guys about. The first is a foundation. I don’t stray from my MAC studio Fix Fluid or BRTC Jasmine Water BB cream too often, but Rain Cosmetics has a new foundation called,

“Conceal and Reveal.”  It is a new silky foundation that is lightweight and has medium to full coverage.

To me it almost feels whipped, kind of like a mousse, but with INCREDIBLE coverage while feeling soft and light on your skin.  It has an SPF 15 and comes in 6 shades. For me the Baby Doll Bisque is the perfect shade.

It is oil free, hypoallergenic and for made for all skin types.

I also want to point out that the packaging is very convenient. It’s a squeeze tube that allows you to really use all the foundation up. It also would be easy to throw in a purse or travel with , since it is not glass, you don’t have to worry about it breaking open. :)

I am also really loving the Maybelline Baby Lips in Fruit Punch!!! I have written about the baby lips before , which are only $2.99 in your local drugstore or Target, but the fruit punch one is amazing. Right now, baby pink lips are really in!! At the Grammy’s there were so many celebrities in a light soft baby pink lip color.

This lip product gives pretty good color for only  $2.99 , plus it is working to protect and hydrate your lips!

In this photo I am wearing both the Maybelline Baby Lips in Fruit Punch and the Rain Cosmetics Conceal and Reveal in “baby doll bisque”. :)

Talk to you all soon.Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Love, Lauren

Have you Heard of BB Creams? BRTC Brand Review…

Hey Guys!

How is everyone? I was doing a lot of makeup for prom this weekend and that always makes me very busy and very tired. It left me little time to write something up for all of you. But, the good news is todays post is going to be very informal and interesting.

Have you heard of BB Creams? BB stands for Blemish Balm. I was seeing a lot of  beauty experts talk about this product and I immediately wanted to try it. I recently have had the opportunity to try 2 BB creams from the BRTC brand. My opinion so far has been EXTREMELY POSITIVE. I LOVE this stuff. Why isn’t it more popular in the U.S yet? That is my question…

BB Creams are very popular in East and Southeast Asia. This is also the only known place I know that is selling them right now. They may have popped up in other areas but I am not aware of them. BB creams were first used in Germany  by dermatologists in order to help laser surgery patients. The cream was to help sooth and protect sensitive skin while providing some coverage for imperfections. Korean celebrities quickly found out about this product that provides natural coverage while hydrating and priming the skin.

The interesting thing about this product is it’s multi-use function, foundation, primer, moisturizer, sometimes it has sunscreen, other times it has brightening properties and other good nutrients for the skin!

My experience, LOVE AT FIRST USE! The first one I tried was the BRTC Jasmine Water BB cream.

This seems to have about medium coverage, it conceals very well and matches my skin perfectly even though it only comes in one color! AMAZING! It also feels very hydrating and my skin has been feeling so wonderful since I started using this a few weeks ago. It seems to dry to almost a natural or matte finish which I love. I don’t feel like I need to even where foundation with this and the best part is I only need about a pea size amount.

The other one I tried is the BRTC Gold Caviar BB cream. This one seemed to have a little lighter coverage with a satin finish. My skin tends to be oily to normal and I didn’t like the finish of this one as much. But, I would definitely recommend this one for dry skin.

This has only been my first experience with any brand of BB cream. But, so far my experience has been so positive and left me feeling like I need to try more!!

If you want to learn more about these products I tried and BB cream in general you can go to:

Tell me, have you heard of BB cream? Tell me your experience. I have a feeling BB cream is going to be pretty popular in years to come.

Love LO
