Jewelry Storage Ideas and Collection

Hey Guys!

I hope you’ve all been having a good weekend or “had” a good weekend depending on when you are reading this. :) I got a jewelry Armoir for Christmas, as well as some other jewelry storage from Michael’s craft store. I absolutely LOVE jewelry and have a hard time letting go  of pieces even if it’s something I don’t wear anymore. It’s fun to collect, especially when a piece comes from someone special.

Here’s my latest video showing you a few of the organizational pieces I recently received to store  my collection. :) Hope you enjoy.

Please make sure you subscribe to my youtube channel if you haven’t done so already! See you all in my next video and blog post.

James Bond 007. $30-40  With the new release of the movie Skyfall, this fragrance is sure to get your attention if you like James Bond Movies. The bottle is very cool, black and jagged. It smells very rich and musky, but in a good way. It almost reminds me of the classic Abercrombie and Fitch smell.

James Bond 007 Signature Fragrance Collection

Hugo Boss Sport. $67  This fragrance is very fresh and citrus like. It has notes of grapefruit, yuzu zest and pink peppercorn to help increase the mind and body’s reflexes. Thymes Frasier Fir and Holiday Scents for Holiday 2012

Hey Guys,

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is always the time that it really starts to feel like the Holidays. We put up the Christmas tree, decorate the house, start seeing Christmas lights on houses, and now we even have snow.  One of my favorite scents around this time of year is that “christmas tree” smell. I always grew up with an artificial tree, so when I discovered that THYMES had a scent called “frasier fir” it was very exciting.

Frasier Fir Holiday Candle

I have a candle, and bar soap that smell just like a Christmas tree. Frasier Fir is by far my favorite scent that Thymes creates. Thymes has all sorts of amazing home scented decor like soaps, lotions, candles, fragrance diffuser, cleaner, home fragrance mist and more. They are locally based in Minneapolis too, which makes me love them even more.

Another delicious scent that is limited time for holidays is Filigree. It includes notes of:   amber, juniper berry, cedarwood, neroli, spearment and lavender. Thymes gives FREE shipping on all orders over $50. They make great gifts because the packaging is beautiful and there is such a variety in scents.

Light, slightly crisp, clean and lovely, Filigree is a celebration of all that makes us unique. The signature scent of many spirited, loyal enthusiasts, Filigree is back as a limited-edition offering—just in time for the holidays.

Talk to you all soon with many more gift ideas all throughout the month of December leading up to Christmas!

Love,

Lauren

Krista’s Eyelash Extension Story/ Before and After Photos

Hey Everyone!

Here is my client Krista’s eyelash story. There a huge lesson to this one so I wanted to share it with all of you!

This is a perfect example of why NOT to go get your lash extensions done if they only cost $25. Always ask plenty of questions, and ask to see before and after photos of the eyelash extension specialist’s work before you get them done. You need to know what you are getting into, because all eyelash products out there are not the same. Here is Krista’s testimonial:

“My eyelashes are thin and straight so I decided to have fake eyelashes put on at a nail salon. They were a disaster; not only were they clumpy and fake looking, but they hurt my eyes. When I tried to remove them, it was almost impossible and pulled my real eyelashes out with them. I went to Lauren for help and she gently removed my eyelashes from the mess of  lash extension clusters on my eyes. She put lash extensions on my eyes to thicken my lashes, fill in the gaps, and add length. They look beautiful, natural, and dark, with just the right amount of curl and length. I don’t even need to wear make up! Lauren is great and provides the perfect mix of personal attention and professionalism.”
