Two New Store Opening at Mall of America- The Body Shop & Sigma

Hey Guys!

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Happy February.    I found out that The Body Shophas a new store opening at the Mall of America on February 16th 2013. The body shop has lots of great bath and body products, as well as some makeup and home beauty products.

They are giving away  free body butters to the first 50 people who purchase in store that day. But- if you don’t live in the Minneapolis Area and can’t get to the Mall of America, watch my video to check out some awesome things you can find there!

Another recent store opening at the Mall of America is the   Sigma store which is one of my favorite beauty brands! They have really affordable brushes, and an eyebrow kit that I can’t get enough of.   I’ve been to the store recently; it’s gorgeous.  Check out what you can find there in my recent video:

My Current Favorite Nail Polish Brands- Top Formulas

Hey Guys!

Do you want to know what nail polish was worn by Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts at the Golden Globes a few weeks ago?? Well, you’re going to have to watch my video to find out! It just so happens to be one of my FAVORITE nail polish brands of all time.

I have tested high end and drugstore, and these two brands I’m going to show you have always seemed to last the longest on my nails without chipping. The formulas are long lasting, the brush/applicator is awesome, and they’re celebrity approved!! So check out my video to find out my top nail polish picks.

New Makeup Storage and How I Keep Things Organized

Hey Guys!

I was getting tired of my old makeup setup and how I kept everything organized. It was beginning to look  messy and the drawer unit I had was falling apart. So, I picked up this bad boy. The ALEX drawer unit with 9 drawers from Ikea. 

I made a little video showing you my new makeup setup and how I’ve organized things at this point. I am sure that my storage will change over time…but for now this is how it is.

Ulta Beauty Haul- Featuring Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipsticks

Hey Guys!!

One of my favorite videos to watch on Youtube, is what people bought when they went shopping, in particular beauty hauls. I know…sounds weird right?! But- seriously, I like it because you get to see what’s out in stores and what the latest collections are without having to go see them yourself. It gives you a “sneak peek” before deciding if you want to go out and check out the latest products.

I went to Ulta the other day because I wanted to pick up some more false lashes for some upcoming makeup events I have. Here is what I found!

Current Favorite Sensitive Skincare Products!

I’ve had lots of irritations , allergies and dry skin which has made using beauty products sometimes difficult. Last Minute Beauty Drugstore Favorites!

Hey Guys!

I forgot to write yesterday.  I’ve been so good about blogging every day this month! So, today I’ll be posting twice. Today I will share with you some of my favorite drugstore beauty products that you could use as last minute stocking fillers, or just to buy some new things for yourself!

 

 

Loreal Diamonds Collection. This collection has some beautiful nail polishes, lip glosses, pigmented shadows and mascara for winter! The lip glosses stay on for hours! The mascara is one I would buy again , and the nail polishes are really fun sparkly colors for winter!

False Lashes. Katy Perry has a new line out that has pops of color! The black lashes have purple throughout them, but it’s very subtle. These are great for a night out or something festive.

NYX Lipliners. I LOVE nyx lipliners…they’re amazing and inexpensive.

Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Nailpolish. This is one of the best nail polishes from the drugstore I’ve ever used. It’s one of the longest lasting out there.

Milani Liquifeye Eyeliner. This stuff is amazing, richly pigmented, long lasting and great for the waterline!

 

If you wanted to make some of these products a gift, I’d suggest buying a cute clutch or small purse and putting a few beauty products inside!!

My Favorite Beauty Picks from December and Gift Ideas for you- Part 2!

Can you believe it…only 5 days until Christmas! This month is so fun and magical, I don’t want it to end.

I am going to share some more products tonight with you guys that I have been using a lot of over the past month. These items would make great gifts or stocking stuffers.

Check these out!

Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray. I use this setting spray every day, before and after I apply my makeup. I feel like it helps the longevity of my makeup and the overall finish. I also use this with the beauty blender sponge to make blending foundation easy and flawless!

 

 Sensationail Gel Nail Starter Kit.  This is my first gel nail kit with the LED lamp and it is amazing. I can actually go two full weeks and not have to touch up my nails. The gel nailpolish REALLY lasts!

Slatkin and Co Candles from Bath and Body Works.  These are my favorite candles. These are so richly scented and come in such amazing scents!! I love them. Look for the deals when they do 2 or $20!

Ahava Leave-on DeadSea Mud Body Cream.  This rich body cream with dead sea mud , vitamins and shea butter helps itching, skin irritations, intense dryness and roughness. It contains Vitamin E to help soothe skin, Aloe Vera to help soften and relieve very dry skin.
