I feel like lip gloss is one of those things that women can never get enough of. We always have a million, and we tend to carry a million with us, for those “just in case” moments. I know I’m guilty. I carry a red, pink, coral, clear, plumping, and hydrating gloss just because they all serve different purposes and I never know which I’m going to “need”. Here are some holiday lip sets worth checking out!!
Kisses On My List Lip Set by Anastasia Beverly Hills. ($30) A set of 6 high shine matte and shimmery glosses. I can’t say enough good things about these glosses. They are beautiful, hydrating, feel good on your lips, plump, and the applicator is a spatula type that makes application really easy. I LOVE this set, and think it is a great value!
Mally 10 Piece Slimline Lip Gloss Library. ($44) This set is available on QVC and is AMAZING quality and variety of colors if you can get your hands on it through the holiday. They are liquid lipsticks, so they have great color pay off , are super smooth and creamy and have very high shine. Plus, an added bonus is, they smell like sweet tarts! <3
Luxe Lip Gloss Collection from Napoleon Perdis. ($39) These glosses feel as luxurious as they look. These are a very lightweight gloss and smell like brown sugar. This set comes in a variety of 5 great shades!
LuMesh Lip Plumping Vitamin E Therapy Set. LuMesh Lip glosses are actually one of my favorite glosses of all time. My favorite shade is Min. These feel amazing on your lips. They contain vitamin E and lip plumping properties. They are free of paraben, phthalates, sulfates and synthetic fragrances. Usually these retail at $24 a piece, but for limited time you can find sets of 3 for only $16.97. That is an amazing deal!!!

A few weeks ago I discovered a up and coming lipgloss brand called LipBliss by the company What’s your Virtue?. I knew immediately I believed in what this company was doing and the message behind it. The purpose is to use positive virtues such as Devotion, Wisdom, Kindness, Generosity, as color names for their lipglosses.
It all started when a woman shopping with her teenage and pre-teen daughter discovered that many cosmetics company and their product names were innapropriate and sending negative messages to girls everywhere. She wanted to create a lipgloss that women could buy and feel good about gifting or buying for themselves.
I LOVE this concept, and would love to see this in more of our cosmetics out there today.
These would be great for woman of any age, the colors are pretty sheer or lightly tinted. They have a minty smell, and a very creamy , long lasting glossy texture.
They contain: castor, cranberry, and safflower seed oils, nourishing peppermint oil, green tea extracts, and moisturizing vitamin E. LipBliss is gluten free, not tested on animals, and contains no parabens.

Pixi Beauty, Petra’s line of cosmetics have a new product called the Succulent Lip Twin’s. It is an adorable little tube that contains lip balm and lip & cheek tint. They are not only a wonderful multi-use product, but their long-lasting, feel great on your lips and come in some bold colors for spring and summer!
The other item from Pixi I have tried is the “weekend of makeup”. This is a kit that includes, eyeshadows, blush and lip colors all broken up by days of the week. There is a Monday through Sunday and each color is different. Petra talks about her influence behind this kit in the interview I did and posted yesterday. This would be a great kit to have if you are new to makeup and want to be able to try multiple colors and shades without spending a ton of money. This would also be great if you want something simple to take with you when you go on trips. This has so many colors and shades and is all in one little booklet!

Target is a great one stop shop. One of the most popular beauty brands at Target is Sonia Kashuk. Over the past couple of months I’ve been using some of the products which I’ve been quite impressed with.
I love the nail polishes, they are long-lasting and vibrant trendy colors. The purple one from the collection below is my favorite!! There is a beautiful coral/orange shade, a bright pink, a nude/concrete shade and a mossy green. You can find them at Target stores!
Her lip glosses and lipsticks come in really bold amazing shades and for $8.99 they’re a great deal! They are long-lasting and feel great on your lips.
The bare minimum pressed bronzer is one of my favorites from the line. Not only does it look beautiful in the packaging but it’s perfect for giving a bronzed look or sculpted cheekbones and only $9.99. Here is the website…http://soniakashuk.com/

I can’t believe November is already here. The holiday festivities are about to begin and this is by far my favorite time of year. I have a new name for my favorites of the month. I will call them my “best of beauty” for _____ month. So, each month you can expect me to put my favorites.
Best of beauty will include make-up, skin care, hair products, beauty tools…anything that can be beauty related. These are MY opinions. It is always so hard to choose but I will base it off of what I’ve tested and tried and love.

Mark Anthony Style Straight Iron Shine. This shine spray protects my hair from heat and leaves it shiny and straight. I have been spraying this on my dry hair before I straighten to give it long-lasting shine. I have not done a full review on this product and plan on it in the future. Environ AVST 1 Moisturizer. I have been using this moisturizer every day before I apply my makeup. It contains a low-level of vitamin A and powerful antioxidants to combat free radicals, repair and rejuvenate skin. SigMAX kabuki brushes. Sigma has introduced two new brushes, a round top, slanted top kabuki. They already had a flat top kabuki and just added 2 more to the mix. These brushes are Amazing. 100 % Pure Coffee Bean caffeine Eye Cream. If you guys don’t know already…I am in love with this company. The 100 % pure products have been amongst my favorites of everything I have tried in the last few months. Their Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream is wonderful. I use it every morning as it helps make my eyes look and feel more awake! Whew!!!!! Did you think it would never end? I had a lot of “best of’s” this month, and probably even more I could name. One more thing I don’t want to forget is my cat BEAR. He is , of course, a “best of” my life.
