Beauty Products that are Not Worth Your Money: Episode 1

Hey Guys,

I almost always write about products I LOVE. However, over the past few months I have tried a few products that were less than satisfactory. I think it’s important that I share these with all of you so you don’t end up wasting money! I really want to make sure that everything I write about is helpful and honest.

Keep in mind that the following are my opinions, and others may not have had similar experiences with these products. I hope you find this entertaining, funny or helpful!

How To Avoid and Remove Nail Polish Stains

Hey Guys,

One of the most disappointing things is when you paint your nails a beautiful new color only to find out that when you go to take it off, it stains your skin and nails! I painted my nails a beautiful blue color by Sinful Colors, and  when I went to take it off with nailpolish remover, it left me with blue hands!

I made a video showing you how you can avoid this from happening, and what you can do if  it does happen to you! I hope you enjoy!

 

Another thing I should mention is that I have found that “cheaper” nail polish brands tend to leave staining. Be careful with the color and brand you choose!

New Sigma Resort Palette and Eye Demo

Hey Guys!

Yesterday was the launch of the Sigma Resort Palette. A beautiful compact palette with 8 gorgeous eye shadows, one blush, a liquid highlighter and a duo eyeliner pencil. All of these items are perfect for spring and summer makeup!

Ulta Beauty Haul March 2013

Hey Guys!

I’ve been dying to make more videos but haven’t been feeling all the best. I managed to film one this week but I was still feeling sorta sick. I figured it’d be pretty easy to show you guys what I got from Ulta. If you haven’t noticed already, I sorta go there frequently. The main reason is , I can usually always find good deals, and they have almost all the basics I need for jobs. They have a mix of high end and drug store priced makeup , so I love to look!

I hope you guys enjoy this video. I dressed in green , sort of in theme for St. Patricks Day coming up on the 17th. After all, I am irish.

My Current Favorite Foundations and Concealers

Hey Guys!

I made a brief video about my current favorite foundations and concealers both higher end and drug store. This is not to say that there are no other products I like. These are just the ones that I reach for almost every day and especially when I am making a video. I find these products long lasting and work well on my combination skin type.

These foundations and concealers work well if you’re looking for medium to full coverage and a matte finish.

New Makeup Storage and How I Keep Things Organized

Hey Guys!

I was getting tired of my old makeup setup and how I kept everything organized. It was beginning to look  messy and the drawer unit I had was falling apart. So, I picked up this bad boy. The ALEX drawer unit with 9 drawers from Ikea. 

I made a little video showing you my new makeup setup and how I’ve organized things at this point. I am sure that my storage will change over time…but for now this is how it is.

Ulta Beauty Haul- Featuring Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipsticks

Hey Guys!!

One of my favorite videos to watch on Youtube, is what people bought when they went shopping, in particular beauty hauls. I know…sounds weird right?! But- seriously, I like it because you get to see what’s out in stores and what the latest collections are without having to go see them yourself. It gives you a “sneak peek” before deciding if you want to go out and check out the latest products.

I went to Ulta the other day because I wanted to pick up some more false lashes for some upcoming makeup events I have. Here is what I found!
