Dermablend-My First Impressions

Hey Guys!

I remember a specific time one day when I was working at MAC; a woman came in looking for concealer and asked me if it compared and had as much coverage as Dermablend. At the time , I didn’t know what that was, but it turns out that Dermablend is a cosmetic line of really good coverage foundations and concealers for hiding things like birth marks, tattoos, scars , and more. It was created by a dermatologist and the brand is #1 dermatologist recommended camouflage brand.

I’ve always been very curious  to find out more about these products and test them for myself. Here are my very first impressions of a variety of products from Dermablend including foundation and concealers.

Rimmel Makeup- The Good and The Bad

Recently, I have just been obsessed with many of the Rimmel drugstore makeup products. There are many I have found that are some of my everyday go-to products! I have tried many things from the cosmetic line and I thought it would be fun to share my findings-the good and the bad of Rimmel cosmetics.

Ellis Faas Makeup-First Impressions/Review

Hey Guys!

I’ve had the pleasure of trying a new makeup line; it’s called Ellis Faas. She makes very fashion forward, edgy , innovative makeup and I was fortunate enough to try some out!

The colors are fascinating, she has some beautiful shades in the collection as well as a “sparkly” eye shadow collection called “lights” that are AMAZING!

All of the packaging is in sleek silver bullets, which I explain in my video is a little interesting and odd to me.. but nonetheless, the reason she did that was to make things easy to put into a holder or clip where all of them can be put into your purse in an organized way. The picture below is from the website so you can see an example of the “holder” I am talking about.

First Impressions / Review – It Cosmetics

Hey Guys!

I just received some products from “It cosmetics” and I have never tried anything from this brand before. I thought it would be fun to do a “first impressions ” video of some of the various products so you can get to know some of the products.

I have a CC cream, concealer, bronzer, lipglosses, a makeup brush and more to show you! If you have ever seen these products before or wondered about them, I hope this can help give you more information about them if you are considering trying any out.

Here is the first impressions video I made about It Cosmetics.

I am looking forward to using these more and incorporating them into my makeup routine. I will be sure and update you to let you know if any of these products really stand out and are things I love. So far, my favorites from the collection are the My Sculpted Face bronzers and highlighters. I find this palette extremely useful because it has a variety of sculpting shades.

I also am loving the Vitality Glow Anti-Aging Matte Bronzer. It is wonderful because it’s such a large size, it’s completely Matte and it’s great for bronzing the neck and chest.

Makeup Tips for your Photo Session + Glam Sessions with Lindas Photography

Hey Guys!

I have teamed up with Linda’s Photography in Delano  this year to do makeup for what they call “Glam Sessions.” They are Senior Photo Sessions that are closer to 4 hours with as many outfit and background changes as you want in that time and you get to work with me as your makeup artist to achieve awesome fun and glam looks that you wouldn’t normally do on your own. You can also have a hair stylist there if you want more awesome hair options.

I love doing makeup for senior pictures, because it seems like just yesterday that I was getting mine done, and I remember how EXCITED I was for them. For most girls this is the one big photo shoot just for themselves they’ll ever experience. So, I think Glam Sessions are a fabulous idea because why not make it extra special and fun!?

Here are some tips if you are doing your own makeup for your photo session.

Celebrity Brand-ICEBOX Makeup Case + Makeup & Accessory Haul

Hey Guys!

I hope everyone is having an amazing month of May. I am LOVING the warmer weather. As the saying goes, “You really appreciate something when it’s gone.” It has  been such a long winter…and now that warm weather is here, I feel so happy. 

One of the things that always goes along with collecting makeup is organizing. I feel like I’m in a constant state of organizing.  I have found a girls DREAM ORGANIZER! It’s a clear acrylic case called the ICEBOX by Sherriblossom. It is beautiful, sturdy, clear and holds lots of makeup. Many celebrities have this case ..it is the most luxurious of storage units. I have switched up the background of my videos. Since all my content is mostly beauty related I decided to change where I film. Hope you guys enjoy this video.

Beauty Products that are Not Worth Your Money: Episode 1

Hey Guys,

I almost always write about products I LOVE. However, over the past few months I have tried a few products that were less than satisfactory. I think it’s important that I share these with all of you so you don’t end up wasting money! I really want to make sure that everything I write about is helpful and honest.

Keep in mind that the following are my opinions, and others may not have had similar experiences with these products. I hope you find this entertaining, funny or helpful!

How To Avoid and Remove Nail Polish Stains

Hey Guys,

One of the most disappointing things is when you paint your nails a beautiful new color only to find out that when you go to take it off, it stains your skin and nails! I painted my nails a beautiful blue color by Sinful Colors, and  when I went to take it off with nailpolish remover, it left me with blue hands!

I made a video showing you how you can avoid this from happening, and what you can do if  it does happen to you! I hope you enjoy!

 

Another thing I should mention is that I have found that “cheaper” nail polish brands tend to leave staining. Be careful with the color and brand you choose!
