My Favorite Drugstore Mascara and Eyeliners

 

Hi Everyone!

I get asked a lot about what type of eyeliner and mascara I prefer. Honestly, I’ve tried high end and drugstore, and I really think drugstore eyeliners and mascaras have come a long way and you can almost NEVER tell the difference between high end and some drug store mascara and eyeliners.

Here are my favorites:

These happen to be my favorite drugstore mascara and liners, but I would actually recommend these over high end they’re so good!!

1. Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-2 lash boosting felt tip eyeliner + Serum. This product is pretty new, I saw that it’s a felt tip black eyeliner with lash boosting serum in it?! For me, I love this because the thick marker is easy to use and draws a liquid line quickly, plus it goes on super black. I haven’t noticed that much of a difference in my lashes , but just knowing that it has serum that is supposed to help the thickness of your lashes has made me want to re-purchase this product!!!

2. Milani Liquif’eye Eyeliner in Black.  This eyeliner is best for lining the inner rim of your eye. It goes on dark and black, and is super smooth and creamy. It’s my favorite for the “inner rim” of your eye.  Plus, it’s under $10.

3. Cover Girl Lash Blast in Very Black. Honestly, I had heard about how GREAT this mascara was by tons of beauty gurus and blogs and I always put off trying it because I thought I had found the best. Well, this stuff is amazing! It gives good definition without clumps and lenthens and thickens. It’s my new favorite for sure!!!

Lovelo Beauty: Before and After Silk Eyelash Extension Photos

Hope you all are having a great week. Today I wanted to post some recent before and after photos of silk eyelashes. Remember, when having eyelash extensions applied you should be able to express how thick or full you want them to be, if you want them to look natural or dramatic and your desired length.

For some who have tried lash growth serums, this may be a better option for you because it is instant, and there is no need to apply mascara. With eyelash extensions  you do not need to curl or tint, or spend a lot of time with them. The less you do , the better!

How Eyelash Extensions are Applied and Why Choose Lovelo Beauty?

I wanted post some information for you all today about how eyelash extensions are applied. I have had many questions about the application process even from my own clients who have never seen it done before. If you are considering having eyelash extensions done, this may also help you to see what a typical appointment is like.

**I just want to note that I trained through LAVISH LASHES. This video is provided on Youtube from xtreme lashes but it is not the exact company I trained with. That being said, this was the best video I could find online that displayed the procedure closest to what I do for my clients. 

I should also note that every place may have a little bit of a different technique, but you shouldALWAYS be laying down, you should ALWAYS have something placed underneath the eye on the lower lash line to keep the bottom lashes separate and your provider should ALWAYS be isolating one lash by one lash. Inspiration Boards for Any Room Of Your Home- Lashes and Makeup

Hey Guys!

I think the springtime really puts me in the mood to be creative. Lately, all I want to do is create things! I had an empty bedroom wall that I wanted to decorate. So, I took out my magazines and cut out images of inspirational articles and photos , or just beautiful pictures that I liked that had to do with makeup or lashes. 

I put together these boards and hung them on my wall. I was then thinking, if any of you ever run into any magazine articles or photos that have to do with eyelash extensions or makeup, I would love you to send them to me, so I could expand my collages!! I find inspirational photos all the time, but coming from some of you, they would mean a lot more!!! So , please don’t hesitate- to ask me for my address if you find any you want to cut out and send to me that I could add to my makeup and lash collages!

You could do this for any room of your home with any subject you wanted, just make a collage that would inspire you . It is a much less expensive way to decorate a wall than to buy a fancy photo or piece of art.
