Milani Liquif’eye Eyeliner- One of My Drugstore Favorites!

Hey Guys!

Do you love your eyeliner? Are you addicted to a certain one but it’s from the department store and costs somewhere between $15-20? I found a drugstore eyeliner for half that price that is being added to one of my favorites! It’s the Milani Liquif’eye Eyeliner!

What I love about this eyeliner is how soft and easy it glides on! It reminds me of theMAC powerpoint pencils but even softer. It also compares very well to the Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner pencils.  Both eyeliners I love, but Milani’s is half the price at $6.99! It is super soft and creamy and sharpens easily, and precisely.

The BEST thing about this eyeliner is how pigmented it is, especially if you use eyeliner in the waterline of your eye. It goes on extremely pigmented the first time you apply, you don’t need to keep going over and over to bring up the intensity. (The waterline in case you didn’t know is the inside part of your lower lash line that actually touches up against your eye.) I will insert some photos of me wearing this Milani Liquif’eye so you can see what it looks like on the inner waterline of my eye.

I couldn’t find this pencil on the Milani website, but you can definitely find these pencils at most drugstores that carry Milani!

Hope you’re all having a great Monday! Have you found any favorite drugstore eyeliners? Please share them with me. :)

Rain Cosmetics Conceal and Reveal & Maybelline Baby Lips in Fruit Punch

Hey Guys!

I have so many fun beauty products and spring posts planned and can’t wait to keep sharing with you guys all of my amazing beauty finds!!! How was everyone’s weekend?? I had a birthday along with my adorable niece McKinley, we share a birthday on the 17th. Here is a photo of us I took with my phone. :) It was a really enjoyable weekend.

I have a few beauty items that are new recent found LOVES that I want to tell you guys about. The first is a foundation. I don’t stray from my MAC studio Fix Fluid or BRTC Jasmine Water BB cream too often, but Rain Cosmetics has a new foundation called,

“Conceal and Reveal.”  It is a new silky foundation that is lightweight and has medium to full coverage.

To me it almost feels whipped, kind of like a mousse, but with INCREDIBLE coverage while feeling soft and light on your skin.  It has an SPF 15 and comes in 6 shades. For me the Baby Doll Bisque is the perfect shade.

It is oil free, hypoallergenic and for made for all skin types.

I also want to point out that the packaging is very convenient. It’s a squeeze tube that allows you to really use all the foundation up. It also would be easy to throw in a purse or travel with , since it is not glass, you don’t have to worry about it breaking open. :)

I am also really loving the Maybelline Baby Lips in Fruit Punch!!! I have written about the baby lips before , which are only $2.99 in your local drugstore or Target, but the fruit punch one is amazing. Right now, baby pink lips are really in!! At the Grammy’s there were so many celebrities in a light soft baby pink lip color.

This lip product gives pretty good color for only  $2.99 , plus it is working to protect and hydrate your lips!

In this photo I am wearing both the Maybelline Baby Lips in Fruit Punch and the Rain Cosmetics Conceal and Reveal in “baby doll bisque”. :)

Talk to you all soon.Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Love, Lauren

Eyeshadow Primers/ Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Review

Hey Guys!!

Have you been over to my new location for this beauty blog yet??? I will probably not be posting everything on here that I do on there…so please go over, check it out! http://lovelobeauty.com/main/wordpress/?p=236

I have a secret to share. This is one of the best eye make-up tips I can give you!!

And, it is…MAC paint pot in Painterly. It is my all time favorite all over eye base before applying eye shadow. I use it almost every day and can’t imagine life without it.

This has been my all time favorite “neutral” eye shadow base/primer of any I’ve tried. But, there is a new drugstore product out there that is really giving the MAC paint pots a run for their money. It is theMaybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eye shadows. I was very hesitant about buying one of these to try but they were getting such great reviews I had to try, and I am NOT disappointed.

They are long wearing, don’t crease, go and smoothly and give really great color payoff. I still love my MAC paint pot in painterly because it’s neutral. But, these are really great for a pop of color, or a base for a colorful eye shadow look. The packaging even looks just like the MAC paint pots.

So my favorite colors? Tough as Taupe which is a neutral matte greyish taupe and Too Cool which is a shimmery white. It gives a beautiful frosted affect.

So tell me…have you tried these yet? If not..what is your favorite eye shadow primer??

Mascaras You Need to Try! My 3 Favorites..

Hey Guys!

It seems as if everyone is always searching for the latest and greatest mascara. Most women are looking for one that separates their lashes, gives them lots of volume and doesn’t flake or smudge.

After they discontinued my favorite drugstore mascara EVER (Maybelline Lash Expansion) I was devastated. When you find one you like it’s tough to lose it. :( But, as a mascara junkie,  I have tried and tested probably over a hundred mascaras..and these three are my current favorites. P.S if anyone every finds the Maybelline Lash Expansion Mascara…tell me! I need to find it.

LASHGASM  Mascara by TOO FACED Cosmetics. ( http://www.toofaced.com/ )

False Lash Mascara by MAC (http://www.maccosmetics.com/)

Youngblood Mascara in Blackout (http://www.ybskin.com/index.php)

What makes a good mascara in my opinion?

  • Non smudging, Non Flaking
  • NOT WATERPROOF but Water Resistant (It’s a pain to try to get off waterproof mascara)
  • BLACK BLACKITY BLACKEST BLACK you can get
  • A wand that is straight across not curved or round
  • A wet formula but not goopy and clumpy (I want visible signs that mascara is on the brush but not to the point that I can’t see the brush bristles)

That’s about it! I hope you enjoyed reading my top 3 mascaras (this is of the moment). All three of these have the qualities I like in a mascara above.

Happy Shopping! ;)
