Tips for Softer Skin for Spring and Summer

Hey Guys,

It seems sort of odd to me that I’m posting about achieving softer skin for spring and summer when there is a few feet of snow on the ground where I live. But, it is nearing the end of April , and I am confident that spring WILL get here soon.

We all start showing a little more skin once the warmer weather arrives; softer skin can often make you feel more confident! I wanted to share with  you guys a few awesome products I’ve found and tips I have for achieving softer skin as we approach the spring and summer months.

How To Avoid and Remove Nail Polish Stains

Hey Guys,

One of the most disappointing things is when you paint your nails a beautiful new color only to find out that when you go to take it off, it stains your skin and nails! I painted my nails a beautiful blue color by Sinful Colors, and  when I went to take it off with nailpolish remover, it left me with blue hands!

I made a video showing you how you can avoid this from happening, and what you can do if  it does happen to you! I hope you enjoy!

 

Another thing I should mention is that I have found that “cheaper” nail polish brands tend to leave staining. Be careful with the color and brand you choose!

Aren’t Birthdays Fun?!

Hey Guys!

A piece of advice I received when I started making YouTube videos was to make content that “I would want to watch”. I was told to make the kinds of videos that I like to watch. With all that said, sharing what I got for my birthday seems a little weird, but at the same time, I think it’s fun..and personally, I like to see what others got for their birthday. It’s sorta like when you’re little and everyone has to watch you open your presents…but as we get older, people don’t watch us anymore.

Anyway, I’ll quit my rambling. Here’s my latest beauty video showing some of the latest beauty and style items I received as gifts.  Bear makes a cute appearance in the beginning of the video!

Valentine’s Day Fragrance Recommendations

If you don’t know already, I love fragrances. Everything about them, the beautiful decorative bottles, the way they remind you of a certain time if your life, or a particular place. I LOVE them. Two New Store Opening at Mall of America- The Body Shop & Sigma

Hey Guys!

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Happy February.    I found out that The Body Shophas a new store opening at the Mall of America on February 16th 2013. The body shop has lots of great bath and body products, as well as some makeup and home beauty products.

They are giving away  free body butters to the first 50 people who purchase in store that day. But- if you don’t live in the Minneapolis Area and can’t get to the Mall of America, watch my video to check out some awesome things you can find there!

Another recent store opening at the Mall of America is the   Sigma store which is one of my favorite beauty brands! They have really affordable brushes, and an eyebrow kit that I can’t get enough of.   I’ve been to the store recently; it’s gorgeous.  Check out what you can find there in my recent video:

My Current Favorite Nail Polish Brands- Top Formulas

Hey Guys!

Do you want to know what nail polish was worn by Jennifer Lawrence and Naomi Watts at the Golden Globes a few weeks ago?? Well, you’re going to have to watch my video to find out! It just so happens to be one of my FAVORITE nail polish brands of all time.

I have tested high end and drugstore, and these two brands I’m going to show you have always seemed to last the longest on my nails without chipping. Jewelry Storage Ideas and Collection

Hey Guys!

I hope you’ve all been having a good weekend or “had” a good weekend depending on when you are reading this.  I got a jewelry Armoir for Christmas, as well as some other jewelry storage from Michael’s craft store. I absolutely LOVE jewelry and have a hard time letting go  of pieces even if it’s something I don’t wear anymore. It’s fun to collect, especially when a piece comes from someone special.
