Atopalm-Sensitive Skincare Review

Hey Guys!

I was so excited about a new sensitive skincare brand I discovered, that I had to make an entire video raving about the the products that I’ve been enjoying!

This skincare line is pretty new and I have seen it sold in Ulta stores in addition to the atopalm website.   The line was created specifically for dry , sensitive, sun damaged skin. It has a specially patented formula that helps moisturize, soothe and calm skin. It is ideal for someone who experiences skin rashes, irritation , dryness or rosacea. It is paraben free and dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.

I have tried the, bb cream, moisturizing cleansing wipes, daytime undermakeup moisture cream, and moisturizing facial cleansing foam. Here is my video review of these products:

Hope you enjoyed watching. If you have any specific questions about my experience with these products, feel free to ask! :)

Ulta Beauty Haul March 2013

Hey Guys!

I’ve been dying to make more videos but haven’t been feeling all the best. I managed to film one this week but I was still feeling sorta sick. I figured it’d be pretty easy to show you guys what I got from Ulta. If you haven’t noticed already, I sorta go there frequently. The main reason is , I can usually always find good deals, and they have almost all the basics I need for jobs. They have a mix of high end and drug store priced makeup , so I love to look!

I hope you guys enjoy this video. I dressed in green , sort of in theme for St. Patricks Day coming up on the 17th. After all, I am irish. :)

Enjoy my Ulta Haul…let me know if you have video requests.

Hope you will subscribe to my Youtube Channel and Check out my FACEBOOK page.

Ulta Beauty Haul- Featuring Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipsticks

Hey Guys!!

One of my favorite videos to watch on Youtube, is what people bought when they went shopping, in particular beauty hauls. I know…sounds weird right?! But- seriously, I like it because you get to see what’s out in stores and what the latest collections are without having to go see them yourself. It gives you a “sneak peek” before deciding if you want to go out and check out the latest products.

I went to Ulta the other day because I wanted to pick up some more false lashes for some upcoming makeup events I have. Here is what I found!

Hope you guys enjoyed this video ! Don’t forget to go over to my youtube channel and subscribe if you’d like to continue seeing all my videos. :)

Have a great weekend!

Gift Items to Splurge on from Sephora!

Hey Guys,

I went to Sephora today to look around at some of the Holiday gift sets. Of course, most of the sets I had my eye on were makeup related. Here are some you definitely should take a look at if you find yourself shopping at Sephora!!

The Vice Palette from Urban Decay$59  This palette is one of the top on my list for the next I have to have. It has 20 GORGEOUS never before seen colors from Urban Decay that are vibrant and highly pigmented. These colors are just those “fun” colors that you may not just wear for the average day, but a special event. I also think this palette would work amazing on Darker skin tones since there are some beautiful jewel tones, and these are so pigmented.

Cinderella Collection Palette from Sephora. $55 OK, I admit. This is another one on the top of my list. As a little girl, this was my all time favorite movie/fairy tail. I must have watched this movie over 1,000 times. So, this limited edition palette pretty much HAS TO BE mine. I LOVE it. The colors are beautiful, and the quality is actually REALLY amazing. I was VERY impressed with the color pay off and creamy texture of this palette.

Disney Cinderella Collection - Storylook Eyeshadow Palette

L’OCCITANE Hand Cream Bouquet $50.  I  absolutely love this hand cream and this set comes with 6 different fragrances and designs. This would be a perfect set to buy if you wanted to split them up if you had multiple people to give gifts too. I also love the packaging and box this set comes in!

Lorac Pro Palette $42. This is the absolute most perfect eye shadow palette I have seen in a long time. It is so versatile. 9 matte neutral shadows ranging from white to black and 9 shimmery colors you can wear alone or with the matte shadows. I LOVE this palette and have to have it as an artist. The shadows are buttery smooth, and it is a great value!

Talk to you all tomorrow! Don’t forget to subscribe to see every gift guide post this month!

Bra Strap Ponytail Holder?! By Capelli New York

Hey Guys,

I wanted to share a hair accessory I am loving right now! It has been a blessing with styling, because with these I can use them and they do not create a dent! That way, I can put my hair back at night before I go to bed, and in the morning I don’t have to worry about a crease in my hair if I want to style it down. These ponytail holders are silky and don’t pull or tug at your hair; they’re extremely gentle and look good on your wrist. :)

So, check out Bra Strap Ponytail holders by Capelli New York. I found these at Ulta. There are 10 in a pack and they were $10.

Another company that makes these is called Emi-Jay Hair Ties. I have not tried these , but they look identical and I’m sure they work just as good. The Emi-Jay ones come in all different colors , patterns, and styles. The Emi-Jay Hair Ties started by from two teenage girls. A portion of all of their profits goes to Locks of Love. Winter 2012 Collection

They are definitely my new favorite hair accessory! Have you tried these yet?? If not, I HIGHLY recommend you do. :)

Burgundy/Red Nail polish for Fall 2012!

Hey Guys!

I wanted to share my latest Fall nail polish love. I’m over bright colors and into dark rich colors. This burgundy/red color I found is my favorite right now for fall. The color I’m wearing is called, “Red Zin” from Sally Hansen’s Salon Manicure line.

Not only do I love this color, but the nail polish brand itself is one of my favorites. This polish stays on really well, and doesn’t chip off as easily as most other brands I’ve tried. It is a base coat, polish and top coat in one.

One tip I have to share is that  many times ULTA stores have clearances on some of their discontinued or out of season colors. Normally, this brand Salon Manicure by Sally Hansen costs about $6.99- $7.50.But, I found this color on clearance for $1.99!

What are some of your favorite nail polish trends and colors for Fall??

Beauty Tool Discoveries: Slice Tweezers and Japonesque Safari Brushes!

Hey Guys!

I love it when I discover new things in the world of beauty. Especially when they are things I use on a regular basis! Today, I have two recent beauty tool discoveries to share with you, one is a new company I’ve discovered with the best tweezers I have ever tried. And, the second is a brush set that is purr-fect. :)

My new favorite tweezers are from a company called SLICE. These tweezers were designed by architect Michael Graves, who I know also designs a lot of things for Target. The design of these tweezers makes it easier to grip and hold on to. There are different styles and types, my favorite being the slant tip red tweezer, there is a red rubbery like grip on it which also makes it comfortable and easy. They are very sharp and do a very precise job. They are $19.99 on the website. Slice makes other things besides beauty products, check out there website to see!

I also want to show you guys the Safari Collection brushes by Japonesque. I just wish I had a whole collection of these brushes because they are so cute!! Leopard print through and through. This set of three retails for $30. You can go to the Japonesque website to find out more or find them at beauty stores that carry Japonesque like Ulta.

How cute are they!? I just love these brushes. They are almost too beautiful to use. I know from using other Japonesque products that they make high quality beauty tools.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Don’t forget to subscribe to this blog if you want to keep up to date with all my beauty posts and videos. And, check out my Lovelo Beauty Facebook page for updates as well.

Eva Perfume and Pin Up Collection by Orly: Two Loves

Hey Guys!

I want to share two things I am loving right now in May. The first is a perfume. It is rare that I find a perfume that I’m really crazy about. My favorite scent for a long time now has been Amor Amor by Cacharel. But, that is more a fall/winter scent in my opinion. So, I’ve been trying out some new perfumes and there is one that I absolutely can’t get enough of.

It is actually the Eva by Eva Longoria Fragrance. I always find the “celebrity perfumes” to be questionably. I was never big into the Britney Spears Scents or Paris Hilton fragrances and it seems to be that almost every female celebrity now a days has her own perfume. But- celebrity aside, this scent is SOO good. And, I think it’s the perfect Spring/Summer scent.

I have gotten I don’t know how many compliments on it…and my husband even says it smells good. And Clean. (haha) which is a good thing.

This perfume was created with allergies in mind, Eva had said she is allergic to most perfumes, so this is very good for those sensitive to perfume-y scents. :)

It smells very light, clean and floraly and sweet. Here are the notes:

Opening notes: citrus, neroli, bergamot tea and aldehydes.

Sustained notes: sheer jasmine, muguet, violet and freesia.

Lingering notes: skin musk, amber and sandalwood

I have noticed, I love the smell of Violets. This has Violet listed as one of the notes which could be a reason I like it!

The other thing I’m loving is the super fun Pin Up Collection by Orly for Summer 2011. There are only 4 shades. But, they are awesome. There are 2 glittery shades and a hot pink and a coral.

The creamy coral shade called “coquette cutie” is my favorite from this collection. You can find these at orlybeauty.com or select Sally’s and Ulta stores. They are $7.50 each.

I can see myself wearing these all summer! They are so fun. :)

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Do any of you have a favorite perfume or nail polish right now?

Love-Lauren

Target Goodies: Skin Renew & John Frida Go Blonder

Hi Guys!

A few days ago I went to Target after work. I absolutely love Target and can always find so many good things to buy or look at.

I went there for a specific purpose. I had seen two products on beauty guru reviews that are NEW and looked interesting to me.

The first is the Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller (with a tint).

This product comes non-tinted as well and when I saw the one with concealer I knew I had to try this one! It’s an eye treatment for tired puffy eyes plus it has concealer that will lighten dark circles under the eye. A perfect pick me up!

So, I’ve been using this the last two days and I’m SO impressed. I used it after work one day when my eyes felt tired and it instantly brightened them and the concealer lightened any dark pigment under the eye. It was just like I had thought… an instant little pick me up! Now, I use it right away in the morning when I’m still kinda tired…and also one throughout the day if I need a little extra something. I will probably talk about this again or do another review. I love it so far!

The second product I picked up was the: John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Spray. And, I have a confession to make. This was sold out in my first Target trip. I went to Ulta the very next day and they were sold out too. So, last night, I went to Target (a different one) and they had two left!!! I was so excited to finally find it because I have heard that this is great for dark roots…as your blonde hair grows out. I have not tried it yet. But, I will let you know my thoughts once I have an opinion.

Have a great Monday!!

Love,

Lauren
