I have two videos to post for you today. The first is a recent “Ulta” Haul. There’s been many new makeup collections coming out and fun new colors for Spring and Summer. I decided to pick up a few new things and wanted to share them with you.
One of my finds is the new Lorac GLOgetter Palette which contains beautiful colors for summer!
Here are my Ulta finds:
You know when someone takes your video camera and decides to make a video and post it on your YOUTUBE CHANNEL?! No? Well..here’s what happened. Hope you enjoy this funny video my husband made.
A piece of advice I received when I started making YouTube videos was to make content that “I would want to watch”. I was told to make the kinds of videos that I like to watch. With all that said, sharing what I got for my birthday seems a little weird, but at the same time, I think it’s fun..and personally, I like to see what others got for their birthday. It’s sorta like when you’re little and everyone has to watch you open your presents…but as we get older, people don’t watch us anymore.
Anyway, I’ll quit my rambling. Here’s my latest beauty video showing some of the latest beauty and style items I received as gifts. Bear makes a cute appearance in the beginning of the video!
I went to Sephora today to look around at some of the Holiday gift sets. Of course, most of the sets I had my eye on were makeup related. Here are some you definitely should take a look at if you find yourself shopping at Sephora!!
The Vice Palette from Urban Decay. $59 This palette is one of the top on my list for the next I have to have. It has 20 GORGEOUS never before seen colors from Urban Decay that are vibrant and highly pigmented. These colors are just those “fun” colors that you may not just wear for the average day, but a special event. I also think this palette would work amazing on Darker skin tones since there are some beautiful jewel tones, and these are so pigmented.
Cinderella Collection Palette from Sephora. $55 OK, I admit. This is another one on the top of my list. As a little girl, this was my all time favorite movie/fairy tail. I must have watched this movie over 1,000 times. So, this limited edition palette pretty much HAS TO BE mine. I LOVE it. The colors are beautiful, and the quality is actually REALLY amazing. I was VERY impressed with the color pay off and creamy texture of this palette.
L’OCCITANE Hand Cream Bouquet $50. I absolutely love this hand cream and this set comes with 6 different fragrances and designs. This would be a perfect set to buy if you wanted to split them up if you had multiple people to give gifts too. I also love the packaging and box this set comes in!
Lorac Pro Palette $42. This is the absolute most perfect eye shadow palette I have seen in a long time. It is so versatile. 9 matte neutral shadows ranging from white to black and 9 shimmery colors you can wear alone or with the matte shadows. I LOVE this palette and have to have it as an artist. The shadows are buttery smooth, and it is a great value!

Do you love your eyeliner? Are you addicted to a certain one but it’s from the department store and costs somewhere between $15-20? I found a drugstore eyeliner for half that price that is being added to one of my favorites! It’s the Milani Liquif’eye Eyeliner!
What I love about this eyeliner is how soft and easy it glides on! It reminds me of theMAC powerpoint pencils but even softer. It also compares very well to the Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner pencils. Both eyeliners I love, but Milani’s is half the price at $6.99! It is super soft and creamy and sharpens easily, and precisely.
The BEST thing about this eyeliner is how pigmented it is, especially if you use eyeliner in the waterline of your eye. It goes on extremely pigmented the first timeyou apply, you don’t need to keep going over and over to bring up the intensity. (The waterline in case you didn’t know is the inside part of your lower lash line that actually touches up against your eye.) I will insert some photos of me wearing this Milani Liquif’eye so you can see what it looks like on the inner waterline of my eye.
I couldn’t find this pencil on the Milani website, but you can definitely find these pencils at most drugstores that carry Milani!
Hope you’re all having a great Monday! Have you found any favorite drugstore eyeliners? Please share them with me.

I did it. I bought the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I know what you’re thinking, “Lauren, don’t you have enough make-up already??.” My simple answer to that is, YES. I do have enough makeup, but here’s how I justified my purchase of the Naked 2.
I am a makeup artist- it is my job to have a wide arrange of colors and variety.
It’s my job to use the latest and greatest. I do reviews on products, and I enjoy being familiar with the best of the best in beauty.
This palette is convenient. Neutral colors all in one place. Great for bridal makeup, smokey eye, or neutral everyday look.
I can use it day to day for myself, or for work.
The colors are beautiful! And , it was inexpensive compared to buying single eye shadows.
Need I say more? I’ve always been a MAC girl..and have many MAC eye shadow palettes so I sort of feel like a trader crossing over and buying Urban Decay eye shadows but it’s nice to diversify.
Tell me your thoughts on the Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay and if you have the original Naked Palette, which you like more??
So far, I am really impressed by the quality and color pay off from these shadows. I love all the neutrals and that it contains a matte bone color, great for highlighting and a matte black color, great for eyeliner or smoking out color.
