To Whom this May Concern:

Today Lauren was not on her A game. Here are the things she did in the last few hours to help de-funk herself from this down and out mood.

  • Take a bath
  • Paint nails a new shade ironically titled- “need a vacation”
  • Buy some new jewlery for work
  • Rent a movie
  • Write this blog
  • …pray and read

These things were well Needed and helped bring her spirits back up.

Down- Lo. (get it?!)

ok ok…enough of that. Seriously though, uh -what a day!!!!!  Not that it was bad by standard means…nothing horrible or traumatic happened. It was just yuck.. Hope you can relate with me here and have had days like this.

My professor (aka Mr. Hall) was interesting again today.. class was long but very educational. I need this class!! For about 2 hours after class I spent at a coffee shop with my nose in the DICTIONARY… or shall I say “Lexicon” (one of my vocab words) studying a “plethora” of words because I want to “Proliferate” my knowledge.  😉 Im trying to use my vocab here…

Somthing to think about*    A quote I Love  from the book I have mentioned  “Crazy Love”.

“Our greatest fear as individuals and as a church should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter”.

  1. I must say that your new words made me smile inside. Very good!

As far as de-funking … I can so relate … so many days in so many ways. You handle it well by the things that you do … to “lift” your mind and spirit through a movie – reading and praying.

Enjoyed reading this …. I suppose we all need to know from time to time that others also go through the same things we do. Part of that human element we all share.
