Hey guys! Hope you are having a great weekend. Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately, but I’m going to be trying harder to post everyday.
If you don’t know much about me already… know that I love my cat “bear”. He’s the first animal I’ve ever had responsibility of on my own. My husband and I got him in Vancouver, Canada and best of all…we got him for free! Free and honestly the cutest one I could have picked out!!! He is a tabby, persian and Himalayan mix. Now, Bear is a part of our family.
One thing that I like in a cosmetic or beauty brand is when I see that they are consciously making the decision to be animal /cruelty free. Meaning they DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS, and they DO NOT USE ANIMAL PRODUCTS. 100 % Vegetarian. That is what the company BEAUTY WITHOUT CRUELTY is all about. 🙂
I got to try a few of these products and here is a rundown…
They have a few different kinds of shampoo and conditioner; I got the moisture plus line. They come in 16 fluid oz bottles and are $9.95 on their website. ( A little more expensive than a like a Thermasilk or Pantene at Target, but not a salon brand price. They have a nice pleasant lavender smell and are pretty simple and standard. They have a great aromatic smell when using them in the shower and the conditioner does a pretty good job of softening my hair. I like that they are:
100 % Organic
Use Essential Oils
And No Synthetic Fragrances
The next product I tried was the Balancing Facial Toner.
The bottle looks exactly the same as the shampoo and conditioner but it is a 8.5 fl oz container and costs $9.95 on the website. It’s gentle and feels soothing on your skin. (It did not irritate my skin at all , some toner’s burn quite a bit). It’s very aromatic. Has a very similar scent as the shampoo and conditioner. It is a clear liquidy almost water-like texture. I thin its a bit pricey for a toner..you can find cheaper ones, but there are also much more expensive ones. This is kind of middle of the road.
I really appreciate that this is one of the first lines I’ve seen that is completely 100 % vegetarian and prides themselves on no animal cruelty or testing. They have very aromatic scents if you like that sort of thing, but they also have fragrance free products. BWC offers many different products and a wide variety. If you are passionate about animals, or like products that are organic and vegetarian, these are great skin, hair and body products to check into.
Their website is very comprehensive. You can find a lot of answers you are looking for. Here is the link: http://www.beautywithoutcruelty.com/
Disclaimer: I did receive these products on a review/consideration basis. My review is honest and I was not paid for this.
Have a wonderful night everyone. Stay tuned in , I will be posting another giveaway this week.
