I finished reading my book today.. It’s Really wonderful and humbling. I can’t emphasize that enough.
A few words on Love that I’d like to point out:
Paul writes, “If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing” 1 Cor. 13:2-3
According to God, We are here to LOVE. not much else really matters.
The famous verse 1 corinthians 13: 4-8, 13 about Love is quoted. But try putting YOUR name in where the word LOVE is. so….put your name in the blank:
_____ is patient and kind; _____ does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resenful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the Truth. _____ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. _______ never ends……
Its a great example of how we should all Love. *** Treat others like you would treat Christ. period. How would my life change if I actually thought of each person I came into contact with as Christ?? It’s a pretty amazing thing to think about because I’m sure not one of us.. actually does this, but we should. We definately should!
The book is also filled with examples of people going to great lengths.. doing radical things..because they are fully relying on their faith in God. *** Having faith often means doing what others see a crazy. A CRAZY LOVE. (The title seems to make sense now after reading this book in full).
